I did last week and balanced it with gold on Monday:

• 54% - KL
• 46% - TSLA

Of course no profits until sold.

i made 100k in january. of course, i lost 200k in the recent past.

 

That sounds like my father when he went to Las Vegas, "I won $100 on the slot machines, well I did put $200 into them. So I broke even!"

Playing market timing in the stock market is a dangerous game. Very high risk. I avoid looking at what $TSLA is doing on any particular day. I am risk averse. Slow and steady is the recipe for success.

 

yeah, i'm not in tsla. i was talking overall portfolio. mostly dividend stocks, but even they took a big hit the end of last year.

 

That's the way we MAGA, take money from @bisco and transfer it to the 1%.

 

Not to mention the cost of the buy and sell of the stocks to re-balance.

 

Hopefully they can develop this into a solid state solution in a few years.
