Changed the 12 volt battery a few weeks ago. Since then, I get a beep on shut down, sometimes, but certainly not always. I haven't been able to isolate a specific set of circumstances under which this happens. I know it's not much to go on, but does anyone have any thoughts or ideas?
Worth a shot. The battery that was in the fob was at 2.9V. That doesn't seem horribly low, but the replacement was at 3.15V. Will report findings.
My fob lost SKS function, not recognizing fob for remote entry or keyless start when battery was at 2.97v, new battery checks 3.25 out of pack. Had a hard time finding replacements, every store was sold out, finally tried Walgreens pharmacy and they had some. Good to go now
Good information to have, thank you. Fortunately I didn't have to go shopping, found a 3.15V CR2032 in my drawer of random stuff salvaged from dead electronics. Doesn't everybody have one?
Yes. It turns out to have been an odd confluence of events. I had originally thought my fob battery was dying, leading to needing to be closer and closer to the doors for SKS to open them. Might have been the fob battery, might have been the 12V. They both died within a couple weeks of each other. No further single beeps upon shut down. Thanks, @bisco
