I entered the car to replace the Power Outlet fuse (cigarette lighter) under the steering wheel to check if it was blown up. The car was running fine a couple of minutes earlier. I thought I had pulled the fuse but I actually didn’t. Then I tried to turn the ignition on again to go buy fuses but “Check Hybrid System” message came on. It was running fine since I bought it 2 months ago. I checked and pressed all the fuses in case I moved something but all ok. Any similar issues? Thanks
Better find out what the rest of them are. "U" codes are communications errors. But given your tale of events, it sounds like you blew a fuse pulling things apart. There are fuses under the hood and also under the dash.
I pulled a 10A IGN fuse that controls the brake system, driver support system, multiport fuel injection system, sequential multiport fuel injection system, SRS airbag system, and other sensors. That fuse flew off to nowhere so I used the same 10A but the other mini type. However, number of codes went down to 7 after reseting the warning message. That fuse is a little bigger and it's kind of hard to close the plastic panel. Thanks for the help.
