I have an issue with my cruise control it doesn't turn on dashboard,
I used an obd2 live date checked and it doesn't output any functions of it such as cancel reset and so on , i have 2 prius i check to compare the live data and it seems the system for it is completely dead, a lot shops say clock spring, brake switch, I already replaced the cruise control switch didn't work, is there any relay fuse related to the cruise control system? Or if you have encountered a situation where the cruise control is fully dead I would appreciate some ideas , thank in advance.

Grab your multimeter and test out the clock spring and the brake switch.

Does your speedometer work? When the combo meter is going bad this happens.

The live data shown by your OBD software, is it purporting to show the state of the set/resume/cancel/on/off switch inputs? And it's showing nothing happening when you work the switches?

That would hint me toward a multimeter and checking, first, the clock spring, and just following along down the circuit if the first checks are ok.

It's either the clock spring or the Brake switch, but you went and replaced the cruise control switch

In fairness, a bad cruise control switch would also cause the symptom, so it wasn't ruled out.

I would have taken the opportunity to ohm out the clock spring at the same time, given that getting to the CC switch is a mini-PITA and the clock spring terminals are right there in plain view when you do.
