Is the 2008 Prius the BEST Prius ever built???

I did read that some people think the 2008 is the best - but I didn't see anyone say anything about the differences. Were there significant changes from 2005's to 2009's technologically? That an 87 yr old would need to deal with? She drives mostly locally... and yes, she does still drive...

the 2009 will probably be more reliable, but your mom should probably be prepared for some expensive repairs either way

 

If she only drives locally I would not recommend a hybrid of any type. It has all the problems associated with short trip cars plus battery problems from not being driven/often enough.

 

She's in 4 different ukulele groups and does gigs with them on a regular basis - so she drives all the time... just not anything over 30 miles.. Thanks

 

I really liked my 2008. I drove the heck out of it.
