This video is 30 minutes long but is worth every minute. He states upfront that these are his personal reasons and may not apply to everyone. .Plenty to agree and disagree on, but I think he is spot on, especially with regards to other automakers (I'm looking at you Toyota).

Probably an ICEV. Why does it make a difference? He has now come to realize the overwhelming benefits of driving a BEV. My progression was: ICEV < hybrid < plug-in hybrid < BEV. It certainly makes a difference in trying to be proactive about the environment.

And your point is? He said some (not "a lot") of these things were available on other makes. Just because some things he likes are available on other makes does not mean that he can't like them as part of his top 10 reasons for liking his Tesla.

Please enumerate "a lot" that are pretty standard these days. Off the top, I can think of one, - adjustable seat belt mounts.

Okay, we have two standard features in similar cars, I wouldn't call that "a lot." Besides. he never said they were unique to the model 3, he said he liked them in the model 3. But he did point out all the unique features he liked in a model 3, and they were "a lot."

there were a few excellent features, a lot of gizmo's that will probably break and become a headache, and some common features.

just my opinion vs his. he was a bit too wordy for me, could have been a ten minute video

flip down rear seat armrest with cup holders?

i don't think he has ever owned any car before

havoc looks interesting, although my simple pip hvac has been fine for 6 1/2 years.

but i would worry about the reliability of making it too finicky

not a fan of the dash 'emptiness' or minimalism, or the humongous screen looking like someone screwed it on instead of built in.

not a fan of the nose or the sunroof, but i'm not a sun guy

don't get me wrong, none of this would stop me from buying one, it just feels like a factory made suck up video.

Now you are just casting bait. Bored much today? Why six posts when one would have been sufficient? Building post count? And you accuse others of being "wordy?"

Yeah, that guy could be me, and he is Canadian, not Aussie. The difference between you and me on this sub-forum is that I have actual experience with the car and you don't.

can't argue with that, but your opinion hasn't changed from pre owner to post owner. it's still koolaid.
my opinion might change if i drove one, who knows?

it would be nice to hear others opinions, but perhaps they're not as bored as i

Why is it "koolaid" if you really like the car? It is just ExLax to criticize a car with no experience. Opinion is subjective. Experience is objective. I have experience with the car.

your perception of my comments as criticism tells the whole story. my opinions here are about the video, not the car.
any comments about the car are simply related to his comments in the video.

model 3 is a great car, just not for me. nothing wrong with that

So you are saying it is okay for you to criticize the subjective opinions in the video, but it is not okay for me to criticize your subjective criticisms of the video? That doesn't make sense to me.

Your reference to drinking "koolaid" tells the whole story. I have tried to be honest about my personal objective experience with what I like better in my Prius and my model 3. The model 3 is simply a much better car than my 2012 PIP which is similar to a 2018 Prime (but that is my subjective opinion since I have no objective experience with a Prime).

of course you are welcome to criticize my criticisms :p

i did think your personal experience was fairly objective. the video is fairly objective as well, just over the top with superlatives. i don't like his style, no big deal. if i were as high on tesla as you, i probably would

i also agree that model 3 is a much better car, and should be for the price difference
