I'd like to thank all the wonderful people who have contributed to this thread.

in May of this year I took delivery of a 17 red advanced model for my wife for $26,466 +TTT from Balise Toyota in Warwick, Rhode Island.

On Saturday 12.29 I took delivery of of an 18 "Titanium Glow" Plus model for $21,646 +TTT from Tarbox Toyota in North Kingstown, Rhode Island for my 69 year old mother.

Without the help and valuable information of this forum we would have never been able to purchase such amazing vehicles for so little money.

Thank you everyone! Both these vehicles are are both my wife's and my mother's 1st new vehicles ever! :)

BTW the Plus trim averaged about 53 MPG the way home with Adaptive CC set and avg speed of 69 MPH

Closed a deal on a 2018 Prime Plus last week. Never purchased a Toyota before but most of my vehicles I would purchase in NY/NJ due to pricing so buying remotely was no issue for me.

I did E-quotes from about 7 or so dealers around Boston and RI that had the Plus still in stock. Westboro, Balise and Prime all had aggressive pricing with the lowest at $20,554, but the quotes included Military/College. I did get an offer on TrueCar at a dealer in DC for a Premium for $23,480 and I believed they would be open to more negotiation. However I didn't want to deal with the huge touch screen. I got follow up calls this week about "additional year end incentives" from some of the dealers, my guess is more of the Boston dealers would be willing to play ball at the end of the month.

I ended up going with Tarbox Toyota in RI. Was given a quote of $21,566 right off the bat (plus doc fee of $220). I followed up the next day to put in a deposit over the phone. Prime offered to match Tarbox, but I declined due to the higher doc fee plus the nonsense MA does with their tags. I didn't bother to negotiate further since I was already at my target price, plus RI has lower doc fees than MA. I Flew up to Boston, picked up the car and was out of the dealer in an hour. Was a painless process and the dealer kept their word to everything discussed over the phone. With no sales tax in DC + the federal tax credit the purchase was a no-brainer.

    MSRP: 28,593
    Dealer Discount: -3,527
    Rebate -3500
Sales Price (not including doc fee/tags) $21,566

I also purchased my 2017 from Tarbox Toyota, to drive back here to NC. Helpful hint for anyone driving south on I-95 from the NE United States. Delaware has no sales tax, so I stopped at the Best Buy at 2700 Fashion Center Blvd, Newark, DE 19702, at the Christiana exit and bought a computer there on the way home.

We purchased two Advanced models on 12/31 for $7788 off MSRP in MA ($3500 Toyota Cash and $4288 dealer discount). After the $7788 discount, $479 dealer fee, $4502 tax credit, and PA $800 rebate the final cost is $21,698 plus tax and tags. Thanks to 2010PriusIII and Reddie for their pricing info. I never would have been in the market for a Prius Prime if I had not seen Reddie's post on slick deals. We had to jump through a lot of hoops to get the cars like bringing certified checks and will have to go back in a couple weeks to pick up the cars since MA does not give temporary tags and we need to wait until they receive the tags to bring them home to PA. If I would have known the issues with MA temporary tags I would have concentrated on RI or ME. I did get an offer of $7500 off at Prime Saco in the color I wanted but they just had one Advanced. Dealers in NY/NJ/MD/VA could not come close on pricing. One GSM in NY said he doesn't know how these MA dealers are doing these deals. The MA GSM said MA is the second largest car market outside CA. They do it on volume.

Just picked up my Prime on New Year's eve. My date of purchase was ~6 December. For a $135 fee, Prime Toyota had a third-party company handle titling/plating my car in VA. It took longer than expected, to my irritation. The salesman said they had sold 15 Primes in Dec 2018 after having high inventory, so December the last month to get a tax credit for 2018 and maybe this forum moved some of their Primes.

Overall Prime Toyota wasn't great to deal with, I bought on price alone, but paid for it in aggravation. When I picked up all they gave me were keys - I expected a copy of my contract or something. I don't yet know my loan account number to pay off the 4.3% rate- I know TFS will mail me a statement soon. The sales manager was sure to repeatedly remind me to rate them 10/10 on the Toyota survey. The only thing I asked them to do was turn off the reverse beeping and they refused, citing liability concerns "some guy crashed one in reverse and sued them," ooookay.

Hi Peachman. CONGRATS on your *two* new Advanced models.
It’s great to see another example of how this forum & community are helping each other.
Which MA dealer did you buy from?

The Prime has been great. It has been a car that pays me to drive. I posted back in May I bought it for about $17,500. I sadly traded it in for $21,000. :) For those of you getting $7000+ off MSRP, there's hardly any depreciation in the first two years.

Toyota increased the cash back in the northeast for 2018 Primes; $5000 for NY and NJ until 2/4!

Where did you find that out? Toyota's official site isn't displaying any incentives.
