I'm trying to get used to the navigation in my Prius 4. (From my Garmin). Is it possible to save favorites? How? Can I name the favorites (rather than have to remember the address)

    Thanks in advance!

Page 242 of the Navigation Owner's Manual tells you how to change the name of an Address Book entry. (or Favourites entry)

    I hate the integrated navigation.
It is simply dumb. Waze or Google work so much better

Yes. You can save an address as a "Preset" on your Prius Gen 4 Nav, and say things like "Go to Preset 1". I haven't tried to give my presets specific names.

There are only 5 presets and they're just quick access or shortcuts to those places you often go.

After discovering the shortcomings of my 2018 nav system, I have installed my portable Garmin and it makes me dislike my built-in nav system even more.

Although both systems have voice navigation, only my Garmin is totally hands free. Technically, I never have to physically touch the screen to tell my Garmin where I'm going. Just try that with Toyota's built-in system!

The stock youths voice recognition isn’t bad, but you need to use very specific syntax. “Navigate to nearest X” worked perfectly for me, but I replaced mine with a wireless CarPlay unit.
