I have a 2012 Prius two with the stock black alloys with the plastic covers, im bored with them. I want something that is going to make my Prius look sleeker, something black with a machined face maybe.Just looking for some advice on the best ones to get with out breaking the bank!
Try using TireRack virtual wheel fitting. Gives you a very good idea of what the fitted car will look like. https://www.tirerack.com/content/tirerack/desktop/en/wheels.html
I bought these from Tire Rack, they are all black except for the machined face. http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/WheelCloseUpServlet?target=wheelCloseUp&wheelMake=American+Racing&wheelModel=AR919&wheelFinish=Machined+w%2FBlack+Accent&tab=wheels Were you going to stick with 15 inch rims?
I was talking about am i going to have enough room for the wheels, without using a lift or different suspension. I might go with a 17-inch. My last car had 17-inch wheels and i found that they rode better on the highway.
There's plenty of room in your wheel well to accommodate almost any typical wheel/tire combo (within reason) that you'd want. So if you want a 17" wheel & tire combo, start looking for 17" wheels that you think look good. I'd recommend looking for a lighter weight wheel that's between 7" to 7.5" wide.
