    Maybe some of the more knowledgeable hybrid battery rebuilders on this forum can comment, but I'm a little incredulous of this need to "reset the ECU": it's all based on hearsay from a single dealership?

    Attached is the battery replacement instruction from the Repair Manual, and it seems to be just that, no mention towards the end of resetting or replacing the ECU?

    Not sure how the ECU fits into all of this. The easiest way to reset it is to disconnect the 12 volt battery and see what returns.

    If replacing a couple of modules, the ECU won’t know the difference.

    What codes are being displayed and how is it affecting drive ability?

    Meh, I just go by what’s in this thread ;).

    It’s a lot of work otherwise:cool:.
