Hi every1 Has any1 experienced this - right side head lights low beam burn out often like 6 months to 9 months. I have used the HID kit and then switched back to halogen but now I still want to switch back to HID because its just shine further and brighter. How come its always the right side ? I heard that some lose connectors may cause this ? I need to re-crimping or re-soldering the connectors? Where and how do I do that ? Is there a video? Has any1 tried to fixed this ?
The right side is a booger to change. I can see how this results in it being installed without being completely connected. During a routine maintenance my Toyota dealer changed the right low beam. They did connect it solidly but did not get it firmly in the light cover socket. Took me an hour to get that sucker where it should be.
There was a recall to fix that issue, by adding additional wire to drop the voltage on the bulb. Did you not get it? Mine doesn't seem to be affected, so I've ignored the recall.
I bought a set of beamtech brand from Amazon about a year ago. I switched from HID after a couple of years of use. The cutoff line on the LED bulbs are much cleaner almost the same as halogen.
