    We don’t mind a Lexus at the meet up (the wife’s RX450h will be there too:)).

    For the job you’re looking to do, getting here early would help in case we run into a snag;).

    Address to follow in a PM soon(y).

    I've been a lurker on these forums for a while but I just came across this and this could be a good venue to meet and learn from you folks on how to keep my trusty Prius happy!

    Judging by the air quality currently, that’s a good call;).

    We’ll have to play it by ear, but I’ll send the specific details out tonight and we’ll go from there(y).

    Thanks to those who made it to Fairfield for the meet up today:).

    @SacLexToy , @RMB , @tallassazn , @grid , @Pedal Logic , @The Critic and @SFO attended today.

    List of jobs done:

    @SacLexToy with a complete egr circuit cleanse which included pressure washing his cooler and re-install.
    @RMB with an oil change
    @grid with an engine coolant change @SFO with an oil change
    @tallassazn with a scoping of the egr circuit cleanse and future oil catch can install
    @Pedal Logic and @The Critic for social aspects :).

    From @SacLexToy ’s job we scoped his cylinders:

    Cylinder 2:

    Cylinder 1:

    Cylinder 4:

    He was getting codes for multiple misfires but cylinder 2 does look wet compared to the others that are dry:(.

    Hope everyone had a great time(y).

    Hi all, it was great meeting many of you today! But maybe I left too soon meet with The Critic?

    Hopefully SacLexToy's engine knocking issue is fixed with the EGR circuit cleaning. If the head gasket is rescued, may want to consider installing an oil catch can?

    @tallassazn I was looking at the image I took with Techstream connected to your Prius, looks like there maybe issues with 3 out of 4 sensors on the car. Did the TPMS light already came back on? Here's the image with added notes.

    And before I left I snapped an image of the 4 Gen 3's on the street, not a great photo but yeah, at least there is something LOL:LOL:

    @Raytheeagle How does Sun, Jan 13 10 am-ish sound? Flexible moving to a day before or weekend afterward if needed. 2 hour drive so engine block can cool down, figure I'll do an oil change first. @RMB come on out also.

    Let me check with the wife and see;).

    We don’t have the 2019 calendar up yet so I’m flying blind :cool:.

    Should work though and you’re looking to do an OCC install and oil change:whistle:?

    See you soon(y).

    Meh, Go low and they’ll not know:).

    I’ll equate this to front window tint. Ever see anyone’s front windows tinted and are the cops pulling everyone over that has done them:whistle:?

    There is a member up here who has a smog shop and has an OCC installed, so you know where I go for my test (y).

    I'm skipping the OCC, can't see myself driving the car another 100k miles. A good EGR and intake cleaning would last that long without the OCC

    Probably so out here where it stays warm year round;).

    I think the egr circuit cleanse is the far more important job, and has the most bang for the buck.

    I’m not catching much at all, but now that’s it’s on, why not keep it:whistle:?
