When the top 2 bars are charged the color changes from blue to green. Just like when you are at the bottom 2 bars it’s purple. You probably have the battery almost topped off.
I was going down a big hill the other day and when the battery was fully topped off the arrows turned off. Didn’t show the battery charging anymore.
That's what you told me last year and it was heater usage. A member here said when temps drop and we run our heaters, the battery stays in the green a lot. It was true.
More green in the winter because running the heater requires running the engine more often (heat source), and the engine (when running for no reason except to provide heat) charges the traction battery. OP, as I wrote in your nearly identical questions thread several days ago: Basically, the color of the bars only accentuates their presence. Purple = "low" charge, Blue = "normal" charge, Green = "full" charge. Seven to eight bars = Green Three to six bars = Blue One(!) to two bars = Purple Just serves as an extra visual indicator of the current state of charge. Contains same information as the number of bars, just a simpler format. In summary, you have nothing to worry about. The computer is managing the battery level normally, and the color is simply an indication of charge level.
