US MLB 2018 'World Series'. For those uninvolved, four teams remain, Los Angeles and Milwaukee in National and Houston and Boston in American League. Former pair has a game each in their playoff. Latter pair has one convincing Houston win, and I draw your attention to that playoff as the real series. Because Houston and Boston really seem to be better teams. Whichever prevails sooner there will make short work of the other winner.
tough one last night. houston is solid start to finish. i was hoping to get to verlander, he has stumbled in the past. we need this one tonight, or it may already be over. price is an unknown quantity and will have a short leash, but the bullpen is sketchy and astros lineup formidable
You could argue Cole has the same unproven postseason history. As a Pirates fan I was sad to see him go. But if you can’t get anything going against him to get to the pen, might be a short series heading back to the juice box.
They do seem to have short leashes these days. The home plate ump seems to have a VERY tight strike zone. Nothing off the corners appears to be called.
It should be a high scoring affair and entertaining . Thankfully all 3 of my fantasy leagues are locked up for a W this week barring any crazy scoring. I’ll be flipping between the 2 games.
Houston just tied it up . Might not meet the “pitchers duel” expectation heading into the game. Always fun to watch a high scoring playoff game.
Straight up pick’em pool, or are you picking against the spread ? I didn’t see the dolphins winning or the cowboys shellacking the jaguars. Straight up picking in my office pool has me 4th out of 93, so not too bad this year.
With the tight strike zone, it should be an on base fest. So plenty of stress for fans of both sides .
