Not for the faint of heart (me). I am not a technical chart specialist, but I would note that Tesla is moving down still today, failed to get over the prior low, working on a new low.
That's a great price! I already own a few more shares than I probably should. Will buy some more though if it goes much lower.
Funny.....I remember people saying much the same thing about Japanese cars in the 70's......and Korean cars in the 90's..... Hope you're right....but.... I think you're wrong. Granted I wouldn't short them with MY money, but I think that even with the "changes" in leadership and the expected diminution in dumpster-fire headlines......they still have some pretty serious money problems, and I think that they're trying to do a moonshot without the Mercury and Gemini projects....but....it's working for SpaxeX (a NON-public company with a somewhat different clientele.....) tick....tick....tick...tick....
Yea - it's no longer san-pans & rickshaws over there. Plus - with their hideous air pollution in the major urban areas - their government is making it mandatory to cut coal & oil use. .
The proposition and prognostication is that Tesla continues to grow and position itself as the Apple of all things battery large (as opposed to battery small). There is no need to be #1 (or #2) by market share. The goal is to continue to conquer the hearts and minds (and profits) of those who want cutting edge technology. Being even 10% better in technology and user experience than the next guy is more than enough. Lots of folks will remain who are willing to pay >10% more for that premium. Apple is a nearly 1.1T company. There is plenty of future robust profit for Tesla to tap and they are still far from the mature company Apple is.
If you aren't actually able to put your money where your mouth is than you are simply a noisy gong or clanging cymbal. Hard to respect someone that whines and complains, but does so without any skin in the game.
Non-democratic and non-capitalistic (quasi doesn't count) have a much tougher and longer road. And some of the decisions their government is making isn't helping them.
Respect is earned....not bought. My comments are either valid....or not. YMMV. Tesla to Reach Profitability, 70% Stock Gain This Year: Macquarie | Investopedia
A few hyperbolic fanboys and doomsday folk pass through. Personally more optimistic than ETC(SS) here, but don’t see him as one of those guys. He has long posted on a wide variety of subjects with reasoned approaches and without a lot of the incendiary stuff of the aforementioned. I’m perfect, of course.
The "ignore user" feature might be your answer..... Or? If you feel that my comments are overly incendiary you might want to put me on report. I personally do not have anybody 'squealched' and I've never run crying to the mods, but then I limit the number of people that I empower with the ability to piss me off. I've written much about Edison 2.0, and stand by most of it. The reason why I'm a fairly ardent supporter of SpaceX, despite not owning a rocket or any stock in the company is that there is a (mostly) logical path from falcon to BFR (which interestingly used to only be only a large frame revolver company.) It's also easier to defend their accomplishments without all of the tear-soaked screaming fits from fanatics on both sides and the twitter activity. BUT.....that's a different topic for a different thread, probably in a different forum.
So Tesla hasn't achieved anything? Or are you not a fan of the way they've achieved said things? Either way I obviously can't agree.
Such intimidation, such drama... Also likely affecting Tesla stock on Wednesday is news that short-seller Fahmi Quadi, who predicted the crash in Valeant Pharmaceuticals stock several years ago, is now forecasting a sharp decline in Tesla shares.
Yes, haha. See that a lot more in a poster like #136. The most problematic ones are those that come on here and post little more than "F--- Tesla..." or "if you don't agree with me that Tesla is awesome, you're an idiot".
Hmmmm....TSLA is surfing along at 250 in rough seas. That actually seems to bode well for this month. Wondering if that's a ledge or a hard floor for now.....or to be fair to the long players, a jumping-off point for Four-Twenty. News seems to be neutral for the day.....with no CNN 'hit pieces'....but they may be busy elsewhere. Tesla: The Cracks Are Showing - Tesla, Inc. Overall can subtract a few percent off each stock in the last 2-3 days due to money moving out of stocks into bonds with increased interest rates. The fundamentals of each individual stock remains unchanged.
