My car is turning heads... and by gauging their expressions, they aren't admiring my ride.

There has been a *click click click* noise going on for about a month. I can roll the window down and hear the noise bouncing off of nearby buildings, it's pretty loud.

Yesterday, I put the car in neutral, jacked up the right side and spun the wheel and took the video below.

Is there a good step by step guide with images to replace the cv joint? I have searched this forum and google as well, but have not found any.

I think you would need someone to help fix that stuff, if you're not a Diyer

Sorry about the video, it should be working now.

I'm an avid DIYer. I might have taken my vehicles to a mechanic once or twice in my life, for a weird electrical issue. I've never replaced a half shaft though, but I'm sure its nothing I couldn't tackle on a Saturday.

So, if you’ve got jack stands, a pry bar. A 1/2 breaker bar and a socket set you an do it. I had to add this socket to my collection IMG_5501.jpg
You are going to need the instructions from a manual to follow though.

...and you'd need a 30mm socket to loosened the but holding the CV head to the hub assembly.
