A boot that wasn't properly closed

Edit - I meant to say not completely closed, as I'm not sure there is a proper way to close a boot. One-handed, two-handed? On my Gen 2 there is an indentation sort of a handle on the inside of the hatch that you can use to pull the door down, although it's not easy to use it to close the hatch because you have to pull down with some force and then quickly pull your hand out of the way. So I usually wind up just grabbing on to any part of the hatch and pushing it down even though that eventually leads to fingerprints that remain until the next washing.
