sure it does. almost every thread is like this: o/p drops a question, we offer advice, confirm or debate, divert to tangents whilst waiting for o/p's responses, o/p may or may not return, we soldier on regardless...

    miracleman is a classic example.

Pretty sure helping OP is sadly an afterthought amidst our usual hunger for geeky banter... If you had an AI robot posting fake prius problems to this forum, we'd likely never be the wiser... Or maybe that's what is going on? Great trick to keep a dead PriusChat alive?

possibly. it is prius CHAT however, not prius repair.

but the real problem lies with the posters. if they engage regularly, they keep the thread on point.

Yeah... Didn't you see Bisco's profile photo? We can all clearly see that Bisco is a robot. I mean who else would be so ever present in every post for years and years?

funny thing is, if you read through the first page, the responses aren't unreasonable, imo. but the longer the o/p sleeps, the further off course we get.

and so, we wind up here, debating priuschat, instead of the o/p's problem, because there is no more to say.

look at the thread 'my 2018 prius three is draining gas FAST'

a classic example of an o/p who is mostly unresponsive, and a thread with 65 posts of speculation, and counting.

I wouldn't relate a clogged vent more to asthma or emphysema. Not being able to breath can be just as bad... especially when you come in with symptoms of not being able to breath. I'm not saying to totally ignore the wire, but since the vent can be cleared in 10 mins with no real effort, it's an easy check. That wire issue does not look fresh, so it's probably been like that for a while...

But as others have said, this all seems moot. OP is 1 and done.
