Auto headlight modification on the Gen 4?

Mine stays in night mode but I do not have auto headlights.

 

IIRC if you set the instrument dimmer to full brightness, it overrides the auto dimming feature and they stay bright, you have to knock it back a notch, maybe this affects the Nav too ?

 

I noticed this too, dbf. My outgoing Accord had them, and it was a nice feature. It took me a couple weeks to get used to turning them on manually again.

Your point is well-taken. On a car that has all these sensors and electronics for less useful things, one would hope auto headlights would be included.

I think whoever was mapping out the option packages at Toyota realized he had gone too far, and had to take a couple features back out so the could justify the extra $5k for the higher trim models.

 

To be clear, that decision was made by Toyota US. Option levels offered vary widely by country.
