Please Help Prius 2004 MFD Very Slow

    No, not officially. The LED brake lights are unified into the light enclosure. The dealer fix is to replace the entire light enclosure.

    Having said that, it is possible the replace the LED lights – if you know what you're doing. You could try searching the Gen II forums here (use Google to search this site, if you have to), but there are only a few threads so they might be hard to find.

    i got a mdf but from a toyota prius 2006 can i still raplace it with my toyota prius 2004 ?

    Yes, but you must move some of the wires in the connector.

    i dont have a blueetoth or rear camera or navigator so can i just unplug my 2004 and plug in the 2006 without touching any connectors ?

    What is the part number on the new MFD? If it is 86110-47081 then yes, just plug it in and it will work. If the part number is anything else, you will need to move wires in the connector.

    Yes, 86110-47081 is the same MFD that you have now, just plug it in(y).

    but i havents unpluged my 2004 mdf so i hope it will be the same number :unsure:

    The one in your car is either a 86110-47081 or 86110-47080, both are wired the same.

    my god do you work for toyota because without you i wouldn't even touch the mdf :D i just hope my prius wont explode when i plug the new one :ROFLMAO::LOL:

    Be VERY careful with the air vents, they are likely to be very brittle.
    Here are a couple of videos (they are too rough with the vents and lucky they didn't break!)

    No, I just had to replace mine and looked all over for information on how to do it--it's how I found Priuschat after I bought my VERY used (now gone) 2004! (I upgraded myself to a VERY used 2011)

    i took the mdf out of a prius at a junkyard the prius was brand new but had an accident and the guy who sold me the prius told me if you can take it out than its yours so i did it was reaaaaly easy and this video i just watched it today lolll :D thank you so much for big help really thx pal

    iv seen that there are prius 2011 without mdf and is your 2011 with smart key or not also the 2004 they dont have the smart key option right
