So, hopefully this fits in the scope of this thread.

As mentioned above, I've got the stock black wheels, but they were looking a little faded, some scuffs/chips here and there, so I went to try and plasti-dip them today. I'd already done my emblems and a couple other knickknacks no problem, so I figured wheels would be no problem either. Didn't want to have to put the car on stands (i only have two at the moment, seemed like a hassle) so I cleaned the wheels, covered the rotors/calipers, and went to town.

Basically, two of the wheels look great - both passenger side ones.
The two driver-side wheels....not so great.
Both have some "bubbling" and just general rough. Not like bubbles from the nozzle spitting or anything like that - but like big, air filled bubbles that looked like they formed "under" the dip, rather than "in" it. I did probably 8 coats all very thin, so I'm not sure what caused this. Wheel not clean enough? Perhaps weren't 100% dry?

You most likely didnt wait for it to completely dry. peel it off, hit the surface with some acetone and give it another try!

After her bath I sit back and think about what to do next with her. I’m definitly missing a roof spoiler(n)
But there are so many out there on eBayo_O which one to choose  hmm and maybe remove the rear washer and replace the spoiler on top.

When I had my 240sx i always was a booth car and it was always a great time cause i was just hanging out with all my friends and that's also how it was when I displayed at toyota fest.

I didn't realize quite a few people i knew was gonna be at wekfest so that would have made it alot more fun.

yeah it's still cool to hang out that's the most important part
we had a good parking set up coming in.
Just one member of wekfest made us rearrange the cars again and park closer to each other.
It's hard to even go out of the car. lol
    But oh well lesson learned.

Yesterday did the most basic suspension piece on the Prius: Prius Plus rear sway bar. Probably not able to DIY if I want to move ahead with springs and shocks LOL :p

Read a blog post about not needing to raise the vehicle for installation so I went ahead and did it that way. Left the shock mounting bolts alone, also suggested in the post. Along the way there were a couple times I had a nose kiss with the plastic underpanel fins:love:, other than that pretty much straight forward without much incident LOL
