If they do I can’t hear it. I even had friends listen for it and nothing could be heard. The test was at slow speed eg. 5 to 10 mph?
I read 50% of new electrics and hybrids must have the feature by Sept 1 of this year.
    Anyone with a definitive answer?
    Thanks,
    J

My car seems to have it as when I pull into my garage with my windows down I can hear its noise maybe try just letting the car "creep" (take ur foot off of the pedal while it's in drive)

    Nada.
I do admit I wear hearing aids but I have asked others to listen from the outside and they do not hear anything that could be interpreted as a audible sound.
    I'll try creeping reeeeealy slow.
    Thanks.

You have to put playing cards in the spokes of your tires and then you will have the noise you need.

The definitive answer is yes. The Prime is equipped with a pedestrian warning device.

    More like a novel.

I wear hearing aids and I have actually heard it.

At the 10:25 mark in the video John Kelly calls it the "Vehicle Approaching Speaker"

You can set the PWD for loud, normal or low in the settings.

    Reference please?
The setting name would be sufficient.
Searching on pedestrian or warning yields nothing in my manuals.
    If it's a Techstream setting that's cheating. :)
    Thanks.

in the gen4 thread 'vehicle proximity notification system elimination', @randomwalk101 (who owns a prime) mentions adjusting the volume with tech stream.

The VPNS (vehicle proximity notification system) was not working on her car at delivery. The dealer fixed it and told me it had HML settings, which I have not attempted to change. It must be dealer only settings or Techstream.

Search for the Customization section. It appears this is a Techstream setting. Since it is listed in the manual, it's not cheating.

Been there done that. Can’t hear it. I’d chalk it up to me but others can’t hear anything either.
