Is that the one that snaps right in? I thought it cost more.
I can't find any Bosch blades that will work. The attachment is wrong. The Toyota rubber only lasted 1 year. The heat here must be bad for them. They split. I use them quite often to wipe bugs or dirt off the windshield while driving.

Replaced mine at the dealer as they has a 19.99 special. Suggest you check several dealers for deals as my OEM wiper blades were defective from the factory. New ones are perfect.

The only one I did my self was the rear one.

Thanks ETP. I just ordered mine from one of the local dealers. Factory OEM wiper blades. He said the Gen4 Prius is the only one that has that weird connector. 19 bucks. And they better last at least 10 years. Like Mendel's. :ROFLMAO:

Physically. Mentally, I'm not so sure.

It seems like every time I've gone in to my doctor with a complaint, it starts a cascade of tests and specialist visits, often taking over a year, with inconclusive outcomes. They all get paid, maybe that's the main objective.

That's why I no longer go to doctors. I think they just take advantage of older people, and their Medicare insurance. My elderly mother was an example, just as Mendel described. Endless testing that goes nowhere. And my mom was too nice (and too trusting) to say "No", or "Why do I need this test?!" Test after test after test... all year long... but when she developed cancer, they never discovered it!!!!!!! Until it was too late. I am so stinkin bitter and angry with her doctor's group. And all they wanted to do is PUSH PILLS on the elderly, even if she didn't need them. The damn doctors get a kickback from the drug companies!! Man, don't get me started!!

(But my wiper blades will be good... I think... for now. I use them every day. Fill up the washer bottle with Rain-X bug remover and squirt away!! ;))

(And I just went and looked at a $45,000 Tacoma 4X4 Quad Cab TRD Special! About 14 mpg?:eek: Even I am not that crazy. :ROFLMAO:)

With conditions up here I opt for the freeze-protect stuff year 'round. You can get summer fluid (no anti-freeze), but for me at least: fluid I add (say) in early spring will still be there in the dead of winter.

Usually I just buy the inexpensive no-name summer blend. This time I picked up the (hopefully better) Rain-X brand. Says it will remove road grime. It is SO DRY here in California Mendel, and so dusty. I need to quit being lazy and relying on the wiper blades so much. I hope these washer fluids aren't hurting the rubber blades.

Before I drive, I should use some water and hand wipe my windshield, and then go over it with the window cleaner. Every day there is a layer of dust on the car. A nice car wash won't even last 2 days.
(In the past I used car covers, but the dust went right through the covers. And then they were a dirty mess. Life in the desert...)

You know, they make these structures called garages, sort of like a house for the car, to secure ant protect them.
You wouldn't live on the street, why should your car? ;)

Well sir, you are assuming that everyone has a house and garage; or a big yard or driveway to erect a portable one. Not the case with me. And even if the car was garaged overnight, that wouldn't help much. The wind and dust is during the day, during daily drives. (And the news is full of new brush fires.)

BUT... in the big scheme of things, having a dusty/dirty car is actually the least of my worries! :) Just a bit frustrating, that's all. Sometimes I wish I was driving an old beater. Don't care how it looks. My sister in rural Montana laughs at us Californians, she says they rarely wash their vehicles.

(Now, will somebody PLEASE send a new air filter to Mendel? 8 years is long enough!! I change both filters every January, along with the Magic FOB battery. And get an oil change. And I will add new wiper blades. :D)

Our Toyota dealership sells Toyota brand, it's not bad: $3.99 (CDN) per 4 liters. Freeze protect to 40C, and...: it's pink. :)

It's getting pretty California-like up here, think that hot/dry phenomena is moving North. It's barefoot and tee-shirts here. I was out in the driveway around 4pm with a chop-saw (my funky dust-control system), and it felt like I was in a frying pan.

If I put the new one side-by-side with the original, I might mix them up...

Here's my new one I just got. It seems so small. This same one fits the Prius C. The filter part is just a little over 4 x 6 inches. Yours doesn't look too bad after all those years. :) Must be that clean Canadian air. But maybe treat yourself to a new one at Christmas time. :D

i might try the pink Toyota brand of washer fluid. The Rain-X left some kind of mold or sludge in the filler tube. That's strange, because I use it every day. Replenish it often. Plain water would probably work just as well! It rarely gets below 60 degrees here. :ROFLMAO:

Just a failed attempt at humor. I do not usually garage my car either and, until 2 years ago, did not have a garage. Here, about once a year, I garage mine when snow & ice are expected so we can clear the driveway easily and not need to clean up the car.

Our 2 bay garage is usually full with other things anyway, currently our riding lawn mower & our tractor that is in pieces after it decided to try to run away with a tree. :(

Thanks Prodigyplace. :) I hope your family is doing Ok on the East Coast. The news talked about some very heavy rain and flooding... maybe it was in PA? The East Coast folks always seem to get the rain and floods, and we are baking & burning over here. They caught an arsonist yesterday who lit a big fire out towards Palm Springs. Happens every year. I suspect that most of our fires are arson. Another fire near Yosemite National Park. I had to turn off all the depressing news.

Here in CA, with the crazy real estate prices as they are, I never made enough money to buy a house. Not even a garage! A small 400 sq ft studio apartment can rent for $1500 to $1600 a month, in a fairly nice area. A modest 1-bedroom up in San Francisco might go for $3000? Probably more. It's totally out of control!

Back on topic: I go to the do-it-yourself car wash and rinse off my car. And buy new wiper blades every year. :ROFLMAO:
