Rear bumper protection (not applique) for Prime?

I have been getting tons of scratches on the top of the bumper (shelf?) just below where the license plate is (but the scratches are all across the shelf, not restricted to under the license plate). I have no idea where they are coming from. I want to put something on there to protect it but it doesn't seem like the applique does much for protection. Does anyone know if there is something that fits the Prime (like a black rubber protector)?

    Thanks all.

Do you mean the yellow highlighted zone?

I'm guessing it's this area that's getting scratched, between the above linked protection and the hatch gasket?

    Try that 3M film?

Yes, that is the spot that is scratched to crap (the yellow highlight on the white Prius). I don't know if it's shopping carts or what.

Salamandar_King, thanks for the link (Trunk bumper guard pad | PriusChat), that's exactly what I am looking for but it looks like folks have had issues with the adhesive.

Are you driving thru a car wash with those big roller brushes? Dog Or kids using that area as a step-up? Are you setting any packages, grocery bags, etc, down on that area?

Later in the thread, someone suggests using 3M spray adhesive for this type of application.

I may try the 3m spray. Just nervous about screwing anything up by using a different adhesive than what came with the product.
