I am confused regarding the monthly fuel consumption record display. I see that there is a number beneath the bar for each month, which, if I am reading the manual correctly, states the total miles driven that month. As of April 3rd (the last time I checked, as I've avoided the display out of frustration since then), my April miles were listed nearly as high as my March miles - which is certainly incorrect. Am I misunderstanding what this number represents, or is there a malfunction? Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Would disconnecting the 12 volt accomplish this? It might have other side consequences, but might give you what you are looking for.
I disconnected mine when I worked on the brakes and that data stayed, iirc. And, even if it did clear it, it would clear it all, not just the current month.
