    Model:
    Prime Premium
    2017 Premium/Classic Silver
MSRP: $30,142.00 (floor liners/cargo tray $248, lower console/shifter pkg for grey interior $199)
    Toyota Rebate: -$3,000
    Dealer Markdown: -$2,593
    Dealer Processing $300
    Price before TTL: $24,849.00
-Out the door price (tax 6%) : $26,808.94
-Dealer location: Koons Toyota, Annapolis, MD. I had the same offer from Waldorf Toyota
The Toyota Rebate of $3,000 is taken out after taxes so that added $180 to what I thought would be the final price. Maryland does offer an $880 rebate on the tax for the Prime but you need to know that going in and ask the dealer to fill out the form. My salesman hadn't heard about it and had to ask for help. No one mentioned the federal tax break, which was surprising since I thought they would try to use that as a way not to lower their price.

Sounds like a great deal on a 2018! The 2017s in the northeast are awesome deals, if you can still find one. $11,000 off sticker for a brand new car, including all rebates, discounts and tax credits, is an extraordinary deal for sure.

Seems like there's very slim pickings left. I'm looking for a Premium in the Northeast (I'm in FL) but I can't find anyone willing to do a 2-3k dealer Discount off MSRP like OP found. If anyone sees any out there let me know PLEASE! Willing to travel anywhere.

Hey guys, quick question, all these awesome Toyota Rebates of $2,000-$5,000 is only beneficial if you're paying everything in cash, right? Because 2017 Primes only offer $2,000-5,000 Toyota Rebates with around 5.9% APR for 60 months. They seem to offer 0% APR for 72 months with only a $500 rebate. I'm not sure which offer would be cheaper for me overall. I plan to put $10,000 as my down payment.

Super excited guys. I'm about to upgrade from a 2012 PIP to a 2017 Prime Premium!

I'm from Florida and there are 2 Prime in like 300 miles from me both marked about 6k OVER MSRP with 0 incentives in the state. Saturday I'll be flying to Maryland to pickup my new car! Here is the deal I got I think I did well:

    Model: 2017 Prius Prime
    Trim: Premium
    Miles: 0
    State: Maryland
    MSRP: +$30,463
    Toyota State Discount: -$3500
    Dealer discount:-$3503.04
    Processing fee: +$299
    Non Tax fees:+$305.50
    Florida Tax: +$1635.34
    ALL IN: $25,700 - 4500 Tax credit = $21,200

    Not bad at all!

Great price! If you don’t mind me asking, are you buying that all cash? Does the $3500 Toyota State Discount come with 0% APR? If not, what is the APR?

My issue is CA Toyota Rebate is only $2,000 + 5% APR over 60 months versus $500 + 0% APR over 60 months.

To everyone that bought their 2017 Prius Prime, did you guys get their maximum Toyota rebate ($2,000 in CA) and still got 0% APR?

Because in CA at this moment, if I take the $2,000 Toyota Rebate my APR is 5% unless I pay in full. My credit score is 780 so I'm eligible for the best deal. I heard something about refinancing with a credit union to APR 1-2% but I just wanted to see how everyone else is approaching this.

The other option is 0% APR for 72 months with $500 rebate. This is cheaper than $2,000 rebate with 5% APR, but refinancing with a credit union to 1-2% APR would be cheaper than 0% APR for 72 months with $500 rebate.

I was curious how many are in Tampa / FL just yesterday. I don't think I've ever seen one here!

I financed through USAA at 2.99%. Makes the rebate worth it. The finance charge for 5 years at 2.99% is somewhere around $2,350. However, I plan to pay it off in 18 months. Rebate is best in my situation.

I bought 2017 prime plus in May and got 2,000 Toyota Cash Rebate and 0% ARP for 72 months. If i chose 2,500 cash rebate, the arp will not be 0%, but i remembered it s only 2.9% something. 5% seems too high. To qualify for 0%, you just need a score 740 or more. I m in Bay Area. Good luck with your haggle.

Thanks for the help. I bought my Prius Prime Premium Magnetism Blue exterior/Black interior yesterday. I'm near Los Angeles and my credit score is 780 without any history of bankruptcy but I still didn't get $2,000 Toyota Cash Rebate + 0% APR. My only option was $500 Toyota Cash Rebate + 0% APR or $2,000 Toyota Cash Rebate + 5% APR over 60 months (lowest APR available). It sounds like your offer was only available before June 4th when they ended that deal, and maybe in NorCal only?

Did anybody else in California get $2,000 Toyota Cash Rebate + 0% APR? If so, when was your purchase?

Thank you all. This thread has been amazing. In early 2004 I flew 1,000 miles to avoid a 2 year waiting list in my home state to get my first Prius. My second Prius, a 2010, which I bought used in 2013 is needing replacement and I want to buy a Prius Prime in the Premium package.

The gulf states region is a terrible place to achieve this. They don't buy enough Prius to meet demand and never buy the Plus or Premium package without a special order and a long wait. They also include a 1,500 dollar package of fabric and pain protection on each car to boost their profit margin. I shopped and found only a 2018 requiring a long wait that would have cost 31280 plus 700 dealer prep and TT&L with an out the door cost of 34,390.

Thanks to this thread I searched around and found several cars in my choice of color and extras for 24690. This is of course a 2017 which hit the dealership in February. It includes the all weather mats and the appliqué kit for the console and shifter. After dealer charges and TT&L I am out the door for 26,946. On Saturday my wife and I will fly to Baltimore to pick up the car and drive home the 1,600 miles back to Texas. With airlines, fuel, hotel and meals we will end up paying 28,300 to get the car home. That is a savings of $6,000 over the best price at home. After the tax credit, I'll have a new car for under 24,000$ and a road trip. I could fly to buy by myself and save some money but my wife is really excited to make the trip with me and that is very cool. Thanks a ton y'all.

I can confirm that the combined $2k promo with the 0% APR was only available through NorCal dealers that ended last June 4. I found this out frustratingly on the last day of the promo and got disappointed when they matched the SoCal deals the next day.

At least the 2018 models have upgraded to a $1500 cash back which is only a $500 difference from the 2017s now.
