I think I used 3dhubs.com to make my print and it was 2.5$ + 7$ shipping. I choosed ABS for better heat rezistance. Also it nedded to be trimmed a little for better fit.

For up top mounting, I like that guy that worked an aluminum angle, trimmed and bent to suit.

I do too, but I don’t have the tools to bend the aluminum, and the aluminum is expensive for a long bar.

That person found that aluminum in Roswell, NM, I thought. Maybe worth a visit?

It was either that or Lowe’s....

Had another look: space is really tight at top, no really optimum locations; they're all really tight.

I have access to a 3d printer and ABS material for it. Did you use Danlatu's file for your print, Prius Oil Catch Can Bracket by Danlatu - Thingiverse. Curious how the abs material is holding up

Lower mounted to the cross member gave me good access from the top. All you have to do is remove 3 bolts for the intake and done ;).

Removal of the catch can needs to be done from below, but if you get the drained style can, it would alleviate the concern :).

But 8500 miles since the install and have only caught about 7 ounces(y).

Thanks for that. You could come at that concept from various directions, different starting material. Steel gauge plate for example, say around 1/16" thick, at most. (y)

What did you use to roll the aluminum? And what’s the length and size of it? Can I see the measurements?

This one started at 3' long, you can go half way around the OCC if you make it 5" long. Both can be bolted to can, or using a nice stainless steel hose clamp around can and mount. To bend, start at where you cut off at the chassis mount in a vise and slowly work outward to where you want the bend to end using a small brass or plastic hammer.

Does installation of this require any cutting of original lines or does installation simply bypass existing lines with new lines getting connected in their place?
