This may seem weird but my family is the type that loves to name our cars. Does anyone have any suggestions for our blue prime???
Either one doesn't matter. Male or Female. I recognized that it says your a high fiber member, what does that mean?
it's just an expression based on how I like to bring humor into people's lives. You know, farting around. Fiber? Our electric boat name is "Just a Distraction, because I have A.D.D. - see having fun, and making the best of it. .
We just call ours "the Mag." Sometimes I call it "my hummer" -- because I used to band hummingbirds including a species called Magnificent hummingbirds ("Mags" for short"), and both hummers and my car are small, shiny, fast and pretty.
Boring old man story: Growing up, my mother always named our cars. I continued the tradition myself, with my vehicles. Usually, I just wait and the vehicle seems to name itself. A name will come to me. BUT... The Prius? I could never come up with a name for it. Until the day I traded it in, it was always just "The Prius". My Honda Fit is named Kellas. I don't know why The Prius has been the ONLY vehicle I have ever owned, that I couldn't come up with a name. To the OP? That Blue and Red tail-light combination always reminds me of Superman. But I don't know if that's a good venue for naming a vehicle.
I was next to an older Lexus GS on the freeway yesterday that had the Lexus logo swapped out for the Superman logo. A man wasn’t driving it and there was nothing “super” about their driving.
I named my Prime Howard after Howard in the Big Bang Theory since the car is an engineering marvel. I also have a lego Howard on the dash.
How about "Sparky"? I thought about that one when I named mine. I named mine Optimus...also have the personal license plate "OPTAMUS". Daughter bought me a Transformer chrome logo sticker. I have it on the back. I commute to KC. My daughter's college friend had unknowingly followed me early one morning, but did not know it at the time, and thought the personalized plate was funny. Her riders didn't get the connection with the plate. She had to explain to them about Optimus Prime. They were not amused. I guess they were not sophisticated enough! A couple weeks later we picked up her and my daughter for a dinner. She saw the plate and was all excited because she now knew who the car belonged to. She then told me the above story seeing me on the turnpike. Fun times!
hey! the 1st car i helped our daughter buy - her license ended with HWD - so she named it Howard. That was years ago, so it's good to know the Howard name has been repurposed. I hope to hear someone/someday repurposes the name "Velma". That's the name that one of our PC members (screen/id name, 'a minor journey') named her DIY genII Prius plugin. So yea - maybe Velma2. (Original Velma, was destroyed one night, charding fire ...) .
