Going mad or normal?

    Today I stepped into my garage ( wife's) and noticed weird noise, sounded like some sort of electrical pump noise. I think it was coming from her Prius?

    She had last driven her vehicle about 9 hours prior.

    No Prius is really 'off' unless you disconnect the 12 volt battery. It is doing things as it sees fit.

    No I didn't. And I just verified her keys are in the bedroom. So not close.

    Well that ruins that idea:oops:.

    When I go past my PRIUS (my exit to the garden or to take the dogs for a walk) without my keys, I've never noticed anything. But if my keys are in my pocket as I walk past, I often hear odd little mutterings, and the interior light slowly comes on and then fades (if I unlock the door, it really starts coming to life).

    I remember the first time I experienced this in my garage with my new Prius. o_O I wondered too if I was hearing things.
