For what it's worth, I did come across a post on International Automotive Technicians Network that has some similarities (except for the big difference in mileage: mine is still around 45 mpg). Unfortunately, I can't see what are the forum replies since I am not a member.

Gen II Prius, Why no MIL with Delta SOC = 82% !? - iATN

Blocks 1, 13 and 14 look out of step (too good) with the others. Have you replaced these with newer modules, by any chance?

Most of the others may be usable. Hard to tell when you don't know what exactly is happening with the battery.

The other thing that looks off, is the IR when compared with the voltages, both charging and discharging. Seem the wrong way around.

Try and get another set of graphs with a charging current of at least 15-20 Amps, and the same with a higher discharge current, may be 15 - 20 Amps too.

Thanks for the feed back i got this car about a year back and its throwing all sorts of DTC codes. i have no idea if the modules were replaced or not but the battery sure does look like it has been operated on ... i was thinking about interchanging bad cells of block 5 with better cell of block 14 and 8 with 11 and may be 2 with 13 .... will it balance out...

Honestly, before you do anything, I think you should do three charge/discharge cycles then a balance charge up to full. Let the battery sit for 12 hours to cool down and for the surface change to bleed off. Then discharge each module for 180 seconds with a load (55/65W halogen headlight with both filaments wired on), recording the start voltage, end voltage (while still under load at the 180 sec mark). The calculate the difference between start and end voltages.

What equipment do you have to charge/discharge/balance you pack. Can you charge in car? You will need to remove the pack to do the load test on each individual module.

If that pack has been monkeyed with, then the load test should allow you to see which should be replaced, and which need to replaced.

Post results here, if you want more advice.

Was there ever a resolution here for OP? I’m having a somewhat similar issue and would like a place to start. I have a mini-VCI and TechStream, as well as a wireless OBD2 dongle and Dr. Prius.

I came out the other day to a very low SOC% and high temperatures because I had the fan ductwork disassembled.
