Did they deduct $250 for the mats/cover?

 

Deduct? Mats are not included in the base price of the car. Dealers here charge extra for everything, and certainly accessories, port installed or not. They would have cost me more than a hundred for the basic mats and much more for their all weather type. I didn't want Toyota mats at all, even if they had given them to me. I was somewhat interested in the Prime rear deck carpeted cover, but only had it been free. They wanted just south of a hundred just for that.

The dealer did offer to sell me WT mats or floor liners, but at an additional mark-up over retail. Yes, that wasn't going to happen either.

Heck, a neighboring dealer wanted $9,700 over the sticker price, just to sell me the car without any add-ons.
