I have a 2007 prius with ac problem I have read and checked a lot of things that I have read on here and what my problem is the ac doesn't blow cold anymore checked freon levels and it's good blower motor works great . Also when the ac is turned on the condensor fans don't and compressor don't either. I have checked every thing and changed amplifier. Thanks in advance.
Maybe he meant compressor? I know my speech-to-text software messes things up pretty bad sometimes & I don't check very well - which just compounds the message errors. In any event it really sounds like he needs to take it to the dealer or aftermarket A_C shop, even if it's just for a diagnostic. The OP's bio doesn't look like it tells us what year Prius he has, and the AC systems have varied over the decades. .
I posted 2007 and the amplifier is for the ac system if you look it up you will know what I'm talking about.
ooops - sorry, often people look to the Avatar to see what kind of cars different folks have & I quickly forgot reading your 1st line of text. .
No problem these cars are so sophisticated I've been working on vehicles most of my life just to help our family and this car has been the hardest to figure out even with a snopes on scanner. Just looking for some other advice that I haven't already tried.
The thing is, as noted above, the word amplifier isn't a typical word in the wheelhouse of most people familiar with AC hardware. Can you elaborate what exactly this is? .
