I was curious about the all important wheel weight on the 17x7.5" Velox wheels, so I contacted them for the info, here's their response.

"Thank you for your interest in Velox wheels.
The Apex 17x7.5 wheel weighs 18.5 lbs each for the Prius Prime.
If you have any further questions please feel free to contact us at 1-877-999-4335 during our normal business hours."

I personally believe (IMO) that 18.5 lbs is a bit high for wheel weight on a Prius Prime, by the time someone installs the
typical 20 lbs to 21 lbs tire with the needed tpms & wheel weights for balancing, the wheel/tire combo will top out at roughly
    39 to 40+ lbs.

Yeah but how low can you go? FWIW, the 2012~2015 PIP 15" rims are 18.5 also. I've weighed one.

Well, in the cheap category the 17x7" Maxxim Winner at ~$105 shipped and it weighs in at 17.0 lbs. (My current favorite)

In the expensive "money is no object" category, $200 to $500 per wheel buys you a 17x7" to 17x8" at 14.0 lbs to 15.9 lbs per wheel. My 2 favorites are the $229 17x7.5" Enkei RPF1 at 15.2 lbs & the $200 17x7" Kosei KR4 at 14.0 lbs; though both would require a ~10mm spacer.
