What did you do to ur Gen III Prius today????

Out with the old in with the new... Old ebay lip was literally falling apart. Not sure how old it was since it was on the car when I got it, but the plastic was extremely brittle and discolored. My best guess is it's at least six years old, since that's when the last owner bought the car from an old lady. The new ebay lip is much more flexible and of course the right color. I think it looks great!

love those eyelids, r they even legal where u live? lol, since they cover the parking lights? im planning to get them aswell, just need to either reposition my existing parking lights or getting new DRL lights with certified parking light function.

 

It's legal in Mississippi, where there are literally no vehicle inspections. At all. I've seen plenty of people driving totaled cars, my favorite was seeing someone driving a truck that had the drivers side window smashed in...so what did the guy do? They duct taped a bed sheet to the door.

Apparently no one in this state gives a crap about safety, so covered parking lights are the least of anyone's worries here.

 

If it’s mentioned in another thread just direct me... but if not, what exactly are your tails? They look like the G’s but do they have a red overlay at the bottom? Is it just a normal gen3 tail with overlays?

 

Yes, they are but these are a different version of the G's tail lights.. That red overlay is the rear fog light. I think these are rare jdm tail lights.

Haven't had a chance to really test it yet. Cars alot stiffer and more responsive
