What did you do to ur Gen III Prius today????

No upgrades today. Just cruising around the neighborhood. Happy Hump Day.

 

Got my LED lights in, also got my yellow high beams

On Sunday we had stopped the tests with the first prototype. We had extreme problems with the board voltage of the Prius. Had peaks that locked the processor of the Arduinos. My girlfriend has just developed a completely new board during the week. We will test these on the weekend.

I'm not familiar on how the CT200H drives, so can you please explain. You got me curious now LOL.

I am very curious now, the CT200H is basically the same motor that is the Prius. I did find a supercharged CT200H (300WHP), which i thought was kinda awesome LOL.

New here. Seems like a good place for my first post. Followed along with this post and installed my new horns. I didn't want the red to be visible so I took them apart and plastidip'd black first.

the CT200H is faster then the prius even tho it got the same drivetrain, plus its 100kg heavier. It does 0-60 in like 8 seconds while (atleast my prius) does it in 9-10 sec. I have no idea what they have done to it...

It is for more. The flasher relay have this functions:

ignition off:
- parklight left
- hazard
- parklight right

ignition on:
- smart tap left
- hazard
- smart tap right

showmode:
- flasher always on, if no show mode activ
- showmode 1
- showmode 2
- showmode 3

that is, at the moment all

 

So about yesterday.. I had a problem in Prius that the HUD and clock set buttons seemed not working at all , cant set time, cant see HUD.
And had a crack in my front glass ... it keeps coming ..
Anyway.. i decided to look and see if this HUD is not working or is there connection problem, because i knew there was some tinkering with speedometer ... the driven distance is wrong according to toyota center..
And it all began ...

2 plugs are unplugged, and there is no where to plug them.
It seems they replaced whole instrument panel and that's why i cant do anything with HUD and clock

There is definitely soldering signs o PCB .. and EEPROM was reprogrammed

If there was already not enough problems ... now i have to buy and instrument cluster .. and somehow re-flash EEPROM ..
Not very good experience of after buying this car... but to drive it is fun though

Will need to check for oil catch can, because there is some rattling noise on cold start.

 

Went to by h y b r i d p i t for oil change but ended up the whole cusco prius catalog for the braces
