Load carrying capacity reduced 7 lbs.

    the gen II & III subforms all have threads regarding how much load the Prius can carry. Many of them with pictures. Many heavily overloaded. Humorous shock value often becoming the theme. Our biggest load in our gen II was 660 lb of surplus batteries & their 240v emergency inverter.
    Hatchbacks can definitely hold a lot of stuff. Often that's done by overloading. So with that in mind, i thought;
    "7Lbs? ... heck - in a hatchback - even if it's overloaded that's no more than what ... a couple bricks? ~

    I thought at first those were bundles of cash! I assume the Prius could hold a similar amount. Well anyway good to know that it can carry a bunch of cash if needed, with plenty of range to get across the border.
