Is it an option anywhere - I haven't seen it mentioned. I'd be nervous if it did, as it opens very high, and I like to check that it isn't going to hit something above (as it has a couple of times).
After having powered tailgates on previous cars I much prefer being in control of how my tailgate opens and manual is definitely quicker opening and closing.
