Anyone know where would be a good tap location in the rear, I found some exposed wiring under the rear seat, but its still a pain to tap. I don't know how to get to the rest and don't want to break any fasteners.

amp requirement is minimal, for some el wiring only. Preferably power on start, not accessory.

Isn't there already 12V outlet in the rear seating area?

Ohh, you want it on start, not accessory. Umm..... not sure. Power windows? What else in the rear has power only on IG-ON/Ready?

might be a bit risky but my first thought is the contractors for the battery pack.

Just curious: As a practical matter, why does it make a difference if it's only ignition-on vs. accessory?

I don’t recommend tapping wires, but if you’re looking for information about the wire harnesses, see the Electrical Wiring Diagram (available by subscription to techinfo.toyota.com) under Location & Routing > Body > Position of Parts.
