I thought that I got a great deal off of Craigslist for a new bumper cover for my 2015 Prius. It was supposed to fit 2010 to 2015 models. ' What I found out is that my LED drive lights will not fit. The Bumper cover that I have has two tabs one on the top and one on the bottom. I wanted to check it for fit before getting it painted. The new one has a totally molded insert for the lights that appear to possibly come in from the front of the cover. This thread is more for lessons learned/discussion to prevent someone making the same mistake that I did. I am only out of 80 bucks for a brand new OEM cover so I will probably just put it back on Craigslist. At least I didn't have to pay shipping!
I’ve learned that the Prius has two verisons within 2010 to 2015 models. The 2010-2011 has the circular shape fog lights, while 2012-2015 has the trianglar shape fog lights.
The 2012-2015 puts the fog lights into the shroud (optional black grill portion) as an option. The triangular shape holds the turn signal light and a DRL led, which the 2010 models did not have.
Bought a visor for the emblem section of the bumper that was spec'd to fit 2010-2015, I positioned it to where it was going to be 3M'd on to and it didn't cover the entire section. The 2010-2011 was shorter height wise while my 2012 was taller because the visor didn't cover the lower and bottom portion of the bumper section. Rats.
Sent it back to seller the week after it didn't fit. You can buy it anywhere on the www, eBay had the lowest price w free shipping.
