reason 1, low gas? & that's going to last forever? Good luck with that.

Reason 2, limited places that work on them outside of a dealership? if you buy a car that's 5% of all modern cars - it wouldn't stand to reason there'd be a similar ratio of repair places?? Even so, I pulled up over ½ dozen in what ... maybe 10 seconds?

Call me a gambler, but I'll bet you could have found 2X that many if you got $5,000 for each find.

gas has been under $3 a gallon for years so the fuel savings does not justify repair costs on a 10 year old car as for the shops you listed 1 is in my area and their labor rate is more then Im willing to spend ..I doubt anyone would tow a car over 50 miles to get it worked on.some on your map are over 100 some 300 miles on the other side of the state LOL ... If I cant fix it myself I dont bother with it.. but thats me, I see people all the time drop 5,6,7000 or more into a car worth 3 or 4 grand.. again if the brake actuator wasnt covered for free the $3200 would have exceeded the value of the car making it a parts a car..

That reminds me I made sausages one day in a small shop. As a kid I was working for Manpower and one day that was the assignment. The main thing I recall some stuff fell to the floor and yes the guy said throw it back in.

    You misspelled sicken.
I live in a rural enough area that my sausage comes from my neighbor's hogs, processed next store to my house. Still not the healthiest, but better than the processed variety.

Nothing smells sweeter than a hog Ranch. I get a bit of bile taste in the back of of my throat just thinking about being w/in 2 or 3 miles - then the wind shifts just right .

We are way off-topic but I am sort of glad I was not home yesterday to help my wife unload a pickup truck load of horse manure into the garden hotbeds.

+1 on that answer. But never been flirted with at a stop light, either (by man, woman or dog). I miss my red Camaro convertible.

The fact is that Tesla may well fail in the car market unless it is picked up by one of the big automakers. They just can't scale up production, a lesson the big boys have learned over years of experience that includes both success and failure. I am short on Tesla long term. And that's no Bull.

I work for State Government. Sometimes I will compose a two or three sentence email with just acronyms. HCFIP CV AOK 4 T&A. CMLWC. CDCR SOMS SCT @ R&R/CH/OHU. PRN. Lmao.

88 mph? 1.2 gigwatts of electricity and a flux capacitor could put the Prius years ahead of its time!

It's hard to predict what the Brits like and don't like. I mean what's with the lack of ketchup, all the boiling of food and cops that are unarmed? Not to mention the fog. Blimey!

I posted like, but do not get your point. I consistently get 104-106 mpg, when calculated at the pump. The ever improving MPG average reading is hovering at 121 mpg. It can’t get much better than that ! Incidently that includes driving up the Sierra Nevada range to 1300 feet every day ! Reminds me of my bug days, certain hip types were buying the beetle. I certainly was not a hippy ( retired military ) nor were millions of others all over the World. We didn’t buy them just for the mileage ( 30 mpg, was considered fantastic ) but rather for the uniqueness and ease of maintenance. GM said Americans don’t like little cars. so, because of ignorance Gm failed, detroit was destroyed and the rust belt really went into decrepitude. We were overjoyed when the Japanese came out with their new ideas, especially the Prius. So, buy a Prime for clean air and great mileage.........and Thank the rising Sun. It rises on us first.
