    Hello everyone!
I have a request that maybe somebody with family or friends nearby could make happen. (Yeah I'm alone )
I was trying to find pictures of the Prime's rear lights at night. Like what they look like when driving, braking, parking, etc.
I could find renderings and picture of it during the day but none at night.

Could anyone help me out with this and post some pictures of the brake lights?

That's just a rendering of the back lights. I want to know what it actually looks like

I was going for something like this. This is parked. If you put the brakes on when driving, the whole thing lights up, right? That's what I'm going for that I can't really get pictures of on my own.

you could put some tape on the actuator switch where the brake petal depresses the switch while car is in park mode.

Or a stick or a heavy backpack or a grocery bag or a host of other things that will slightly depress the brake pedal while parked...

If you can't get those pics on your own, how do you know your brake lights even work? Why are you not inspecting your light functions once a month?

On the Primes I've seen (in passing) at night the 12 individual LEDs on the right/left are the primary visual signature - are those brakes only?[IMG]

I've literally never inspected brake light function in my life. I've got cops to pull me over and tell me if they're out or yearly car inspections as required in PA though. Lol

Yes, that's hilarious. It wouldn't bother you to drive around for 364 days with no brake lights, as long as you didn't get pulled over.

    You frighten me.

Hey, it would be a rear end collision. The other guy is fully at fault. The collision caused the lights to fail, officer. ;)

They must be brakes only, since they don't display when parking lights are lit. I too am solo (not Hans), so can't testify to brake light appearance. If I get curious enough, I'll call my neighbor to step on the brake pedal!

There, there now, no need to fret. To make sure that there is some brake light function, in the evening, carefully back your car up to a white wall or similar surface, apply the brakes, and watch for the reflection in your rearview mirror; quick and easy!! Same for rear turn signals.

I've always wanted to run a wire from the rear brake light led to a led mounted on the dash.
With all the braking that the car can do, including cruise control, I wonder what the brake light story that I'm communicating to the person behind me is.
