Info on reconditioning the Hybrid Battery?

    I started using the Prolong system last June. First reconditioning was June with the second one in December. Allowing the charge cycles to run 40 hours instead of 24 made a big difference. The battery screen is no longer fluctuating rapidly or otherwise showing signs of weakness. It remains to be seen if it will extend battery life substantially but it is now charging up over 242v as opposed to the 239v before. It is consistently maintaining itself in the top blue/bottom green bar range where it was all over the place before. So far, so good.

    In addition to the longer charge times I would suggest keeping a battery maintainer on the 12v battery during the Prolong maintenance. It takes about a week from start to finish and it's very easy to accidentally drain the 12v with an open door light or other drain. If you have an SKS key you might want to disable that for the maintenance, too.

    Thank you :) and I will keep everyone posted. ( I was actually going to post the question right now). regarding the location of cells. I have not done a load test as of yet, just measured voltage on each cell. The one enclosed in this pic is the same one that reflected in the "mini" test (not load test) as "weak" (#10 as per this picture) but according to dealer cell module #5 and #6. I'm confused. I have had so many members being so helpful with the process and I just wanted to double check.

    You might be confusing modules and blocks;).

    Block #5 has modules 10 and 11 when counted from the end opposite the ECU.

    My bet is they told you the block and not the module.

    I have a few questions I need help with please. I am planning on reconditioning my cylindrical hv battery to see its revivable.

    1. If im planning to recondition, is it meaningless to load test?

    2. If load test is neccessary, if i get say quick drops, can that module still be saves through reconditioning?

    3. If i do 3 cycles using the tenergy t180, is there a number i need all the modules to be close to or can they be anywhere as long as minimum in the 5,000s.

    4. If i cant find the capacity without charge and discharging them, how can i know if a specific module doesnt need reconditioning?

    5. Is there any way to measure the internal resistance or is that something i dont mind too much as im reconditioning the whole battery?

    If there is a good step by step thread or website or video for all this, please share but also id like help with my questions.

    I just finished the 3 charge/discharge cycles for each module. I have them all hooked up now in Parallel to balance them. All balanced at 7.23.

    Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question. My question is, some modules 3rd cycled was charged and then discharged and some were discharged and then charged. Does this matter before putting them back in the car how they ended on their 3rd cycle as long as they all balanced were at 7.23 before putting back in car?

    Or should be ending all of them on the last cycle as a charge and then dropping the voltage down to 7.2 individually and then balance?
