    Mr. CraigM,
Don't you mean, "Portland Prime"; I couldn't find a "Portland Prius".

Just this morning, January 22, 2018, filed a report with the Entune people that my mileage reporting using the phone Entune app is not updating automatically. This was a problem back in April of 2017. They said they would resolve the problem within a day or two. While charging the car, if you use the Entune app on your phone, and try to find the latest update to the charge, the buffering symbol keeps spinning, but you don't get an update until you exit the app and then go right back into the app again.
The last time this happened, they said it was related to the servers having to be corrected in some way. Nobody gave us a specific answer.

I've been watching the mpg creep upward as the weather has improved from frigid to just damn cold. Been able to operate in EV mode and, as of this afternoon, the ECO dashboard shows 999.9 mpg and we are now listed in the middle of the pack of 1st place honors. This is remarkable, considering that earlier this month we were ranked at 754th.

Not to mention that our ECO driving score is 24th -- which is amazing considering driving in a city where the custom is to accelerate instantly when the light changes, lest other drivers loudly question one's parents' marital status.

Of course, I would like to thank our sheep for their steadfast patience and perseverance throughout.

Does that one sheep ever get another view other than the one it has?

Eyes on the side of their head so together they are covering all 4 cardinal directions. Got to watch out for those hungry cats and bears.

Mrs. Bear would get very upset if any sheep were harmed. She is rarely seen without a basket of sheep's wool and her trusty knitting needles.

The family cats are much too small to harm any sheep. And, as of this week, the Scientific American reports that the eastern bob cat is officially extinct.

If a future version of this app is programmed for a rogue predator leaping forth from the pine trees and taking down an earned sheep, it might make it worth it for me to finally get a smartphone and install this.

Also, why not plastic sheep, trees (etc.) action figures - placed on one's actual dashboard!

How about aliens taking the sheep away for experimentation? The truth is out there.

Yeah, what is the point of that sheep ad??!!. Maybe that's the whole problem with public perception of this car and EV powered vehicles; they apparently are targeted to weird, "followers" (sheep), ie, losers! Toyota really need to fire the current loser ad agency, and hire the Geico ad agency!! Our Primes are really cool cars whose great attributes need to become part of the general conversation!

The upper left hand corner shows it's an Israel domain address.

Very poor and subtle reference to emitting less crap out the rear.

I wonder if it's Kosher?!! It certainly is not very intelligent, or effective. . I see other more sinister intimations in that ad, none of them pretty!. If they're gonna use sheep in their stupid commercials, they should at least do like Dodge and pick the Ram. Dumb, dumb, dumb! They certainly know nuthin' about advertising cars in the U.S.! Maybe that's why here in Socal at least, they're following the precept of, "Silence is Golden", and not advertising the Prime at all.

Well, isn't that where sheep herders came from?

Tomorrow is the blue, blood, full moon eclipse (150 years for this puppy) and also the rounding up of the sheep and starting over on Thursday. I am looking forward to both. Jan was hard on my ranching skills. Now to keep that damn ground hog from seeing its shadow.

The moon sets for us in the morning right at the full eclipse stage.

January has been my worst after Jan 21st. Jan 21st I had sheep oranges, etc., etc and an average ECO of 90%. Then starting the 22nd I drove about 1,500 miles over several days in a row. I've got no sheep, no trees, sun, rainbow, or flowers. Looks like Armageddon came to visit. Worst ever this late into any month. ECO score took a nose dive to 53 for the month.

    I'm ready for a reset.

I won't be able to see much of the eclipse from Chicago either. And with a mess of trees and buildings in either direction of the rising or setting moon, pretty much will be a zero event for us here this year. Maybe better in 150 more years?

However, 2014 was more kind. Here's what the Super Blood Blue Full Eclipse Moon might look like (without sheep) tonight and tomorrow, for those of you between the far west coast all the way to Asia.
