Every couple of days the entertainment system on my Prime Premium will restart of its own volition. Goes bak to playing the correct song/FM station, etc.

I have a n iPod Classic connected over USB, and my iPhone connected on Bluetooth. No other customization of the entertainment/GPS/whatever system. Hardly use anything other feature than the music from the iPod and hands-free calling for the phone.

    Anybody else experiencing this?

Apple iphone or ipod via usb connection is the cause of rebooting. Glitch in the system or communication that need to be addressed to Toyota.

Android user here. My entertainment system has also rebooted itself. I usually have my phone connected via bluetooth. Does Entune connection have a problem?

Have you tried calling someone via Siri eyes free and/or voice recognition and did you have any problems with that?

I've had problems with outgoing calls not connecting properly using those 2 avenues.

I use the Primes voice recognition. First few times it was difficult to understand me, now it is working great. Guess it learned my voice.

I have a 2017 Prius Prime, the car has had the problem with the center console since I purchased the car. The dealer has made several attempts to fix the problem with no avail. We have determined that the problem is with Apple and the Toyota computer. Toyota refuses to acknowledge the but has at this point agreed to purchase the car back under the California Lemon Law. The problem is clearly internal in the computer and is an issue beyond the scope of what their technician can repair. My car spent a total of 45 Days in the past 18 months at the dealer and the problem continued. The reboot problem does not happen with Android.

How much pain did you have to endure in terms of complaints, letters, haranguing, etc., of Toyota, in order to get them to take the car back?
