I noticed quite a few threads here regarding turn signal mirrors but all the references link to online shops (JDM, eBay, etc.) that are for the Prius v older models.

Would anyone know where I could locate a vendor for the 2015 model? I've looked up eBay and Amazon and I can't find much other than "stick on" led strips that look like a kid's school project.

    Thanks!

Are the 2015 side mirrors visually different than the 2012-2014? If not, then the current turn signal mirrors will also fit the 2015.

Perhaps... it's hard to tell. I know the 2015 has had a redesign.

Also, when looking up the links where people here bought their mirrors (JDM Styling), it seems like they no longer have OEM painted turn signal mirrors. I was only able to find chrome plated and carbon fibre and those are ugly.

The refresh is the front and back of the car. I don't think they redesigned the side mirrors. It's not like the Prius got a whole new sheet metal like the Camry mid cycle refresh. Also unless you're getting a part straight from Toyota, all mirror covers are not painted. The ones on ebay are aftermarket and painted by the seller. There are plenty of pictures of 2012-2014 look around and compare them to your 2015. I can almost guarantee you they're perfect match.

I installed Scion IQ mirror covers and turn signals on our 2012 Prius v. The covers are silver but that's fine with us. I could have ordered the OEM body color mirror covers used on the Japanese market Prius a and the world market Prius+ but I would rather have easy to get parts in case the mirror covers get trashed - one has already been damaged and replaced.

A link to my thread about this install is below.

I did come across your thread with the Scion IQ mirrors - however, I like when everything matches and they don't have my color. So far, my only option is MIT on eBay. With our Canadian dollar being so weak at this point, it's adds almost another 40% surcharge. I've opted for tinted windows instead of going for turn signal mirrors! :)

I'm getting my Prius v on Wednesday can't wait.

The silver of the Scion mirror covers don't look any more out of place than the black of the panoramic roof. The Scion IQ mirrors look every bit as nice as the body color mirrors of our Sienna and certainly makes our Prius easier to identify. Maybe the attached photo of our Prius v and Sienna will provide perspective.

I know this reply is almost 3 years late but just a quick question. Were the Scion IQ mirrors just plug and play or did you have to do some cutting and splicing?

Here is the link to my thread about it since maybe the mobile app doesn't allow you to see it in my signature: Scion IQ signal mirrors on a Prius v wagon | PriusChat

My thread pretty much explains it. Installing the Scion IQ turn signal mirror covers certainly wasn't plug and play and required fabricating simple wiring harnesses, finding female spade connectors at the hardware store that would work, removing/reinstalling the mirrors and door panels and locating the connection points for the turn signal circuits near the kick panels.

I don't know how I would give the task a "level of difficulty" rating - maybe a "6" on my 1 to 10 "Weekend Project Scale". To put it into perpective, tomorrow's project of installing a Hella headlight washer kit on our Sienna will probably be an easier "4" on my Weekend Project Scale even though doing that requires removing the front bumper cover and drilling holes in it and the washer fluid tank.

I have this project prepared -- parts, connectors on the work bench -- for when (if ever) it warms up again. Have gone to school extensively on Offline's very helpful thread.
