    $130K, about the size of a tesla model S, 400 mile range, lg lithium battery then solid state. Scissor doors. Who knows if they will build even one, or if they will have huge quality problems. Carbon fiber and aluminum. A cheaper i8? Could be but I doubt it.

    The thing is .... unlike Tesla, who made their Model S believable, by starting / installing the supercharger network (planning, permits, leasing property, buying property, design completed / installations completed) even as the cars were rolling off the tesla assembly line. EMotion has yet to build even a single fast charger / which will require some serious transformer costs/installs too (as Tesla had to do). w/out even one fast charge unit ... presuming anyone ever is able to buy one of these, you can only drive it 1/2 way or less, to empty, then you have to refill (hydrogen infrastructure deja vu). Or, you charge on a public L2 ... which mean (presuming 7kW's) you have to sit there for a dozen hours or so. I wish them luck ... but it appears all it'd do is divert investment money that might best go anywhere else. imo

    Now, if they could "buy into" the Tesla network .... say, an additional $5-$10K , they wouldn't be as handicapped, because Tesla already has over 1,000 charger places ... even as of October of last year, and will more than triple that amount by the end of this year.

    9 minutes for 125 miles, or 9 minutes for 700 miles in our $29,000. hycam. hmm... tough decision.

    My guess is the fiskers are vaporware, or not real - but could be some day ;-)

    Porsche on the other hand really does have the battery tech and chargers.

    The first one is in berlin the second for atlanta, and built for 800V - 350 KW, but restricted to 150 KW, because porsche hasn't built a car with the big battery that can take that. Oh VW group (porsche parent) is talking with tesla to make sure tesla bevs can use these new fast chargers too.

    My guess is the new tesla truck and roadster will be able to take charges this fast. Will vw group and tesla build some together? It could be.

    There is a big group trying to build such a network in europe for 2020. This is way behind tesla, but the cars are not ready from these makers.

    The current station roll out will have 2 plugs on a 350 kw station. Theoretically that could charge 1 car at the full rate, but the first ones are throttled down because they don't have the cars capable yet. Tesla's max is speculated to be 145 kw today. By 2020 I expect we will see some big packs capable of 300 KW or more.

    The mission E may be available in a year. My guess is the new tesla roadster may be available in 3 years. When one is available we will know if these chargers/batteries work together well. I'm planning to buy a lowly model 3, and charge it slowly in my garage for most of its miles. Many weeks I'll only need to charge it once ;-) but there are now fast chargers on the higways leading north, south, and east. I wouldn't trust a bev going west from austin for a long trip for awhile until networks are more built out. The girlfriend drives it every now and then so she can take the dog, but I typically fly, through that huge patch of open space in west texas.

    My guess is when the mission E is available there will be multiple fast chargers that porsche installs at the race track in town ;-)
