Any recommended specific cell phone holder for this generation of prius?
Weblinks to it (and/or photos of it in prius) are appreciated.
I don't think the air ac/heat vent-attached ones are a good idea, but let me know if you disagree & why.

    I got this one.

I stick it to the little triangular window between the A & B pillars so it's mostly out of the way of the sun screen. It's a little bouncy because I have to extend it all the way, but it works for me.

My wife and I just put our phones in the cup holder farthest forward (the one you fold forward to open. A lot of phones fit really well in that one and no holder needs to be purchased.

I also use the same cup holder to hold our Garmin unit when I'm alone in the car (we hate the Toyota GPS). If using the Garmin I just stick my phone on the tray inside the console instead. The Bluetooth handles calls so there's no need to even have the phone where I can see it. Text messages are checked in parking lots when the car is stopped and not before.

I have one that fits into my cd player that I really like. I believe it's made by koomus. I installed it with the base "upside down", which lowered the phone a few inches and prevents the phone from blocking my mfd. It works great for me.

The best ones are magnetic in my opinion!

You place a magnetic sticker on the back of your cell phone case which is included. And you just place it on the mount and it magically sticks and will not budge.

I've used 2 that are non-magnetic where your phone is held hostage until you squeeze the mount to release your phone.

Magnetic you just grab...Really a beautiful thing...This is the one I use:

My husband bought one of the vent mounts for our WRX. I definitely do not like it. We have been keeping our phone over the navigation screen and have little foam things stuck on to keep it there (yes, we have the ultimate hooptie mobile). His idea. He turns the screen off behind the phone. I'll have to take a picture.

I use this one. There are many ebay sellers to choose from. This was the first link I found. I believe this is the best one you can buy. It's magnetic and has two metal plates one round and one rectangular. The pics do not show it setup like I have mine. I have mine attached to the windshield on the left side. I will post pics tomorrow of how I have it setup.

Magnetic is the best but then it's a preference of how you want it mounted. I prefer not to have a big sticker on my dash so I have the one that slides into CD player. Good price though ($7) the link I posted is $20 on Amazon.

I'd have a problem with it since I use the CD changer all the time.

For those you use the magnetic hold types, does that magnetic sticker on your phone now interfere with wireless charging or not?

I don't have a wireless charger so can't answer. But if it did the magnet is only on the case so you'd just remove case.

With you guys mounting your phones so far from the aux port does anyone use a Bluetooth to aux adapter that works good? That way the phone is connected to the aux wirelessly.

My iPhone connects perfectly via bluetooth. All I use it for is the phone and sometimes music. Never had any problems.

I was meaning for the 2nd gen. In a 2nd gen even if you have factory Bluetooth it only makes calls and won't play music. You have to use the aux input to play music from a phone. I'm planning on getting a phone mount but hate to run cords so I was thinking of trying a Bluetooth to aux adapter and was just wondering if anyone in here is using one that works real good.

Sorry. I guess I never tried playing music on my '05. Just used the phone on that one.

I've used a couple different Bluetooth receivers connected to my aux input and it works perfectly.

Nope. It won't stick at all to that textured dash. Mine is the same, I think. I stick mine in that little triangular window on the left.
