Has someone already posted what the best driving method to use to get your eco driving score into the high 90’s? Thx, Ben

Hey, you've got to find a midway charging station, so you can remain on electric; all you have to do is waste another hour or so to top off your battery!! OCD all the way!! You'll eventually get your oranges, rainbow, and sheep back!! Ain't seen no tulips, though!

Probably. I use the Intelligent Drive Coach. If you can learn to follow its recommendations you will get a high ECO score. It's a struggle and is very conservative, but if you do it enough, you will improve. Keep in mind, if you are in traffic, its acceleration may be too slow to be safe. It's also picky about real life stopping. You don't always have a heads up to slow down 100 yards early, etc.

That's my problem here in the very dense traffic situation we have; you never have enough lead time to come to a very gradual stop. on the other hand due to the high traffic density, you're driving slowly and since I drive on surface streets you get fantastic fuel economy for the electric mode. My current EV range is 35 miles!
BTW, I'm 100% on POWER MODE, and found this to be a great way to enjoy, "Zippy", my Prime, with apparent negative impact!

Even with the recent very cold 18° temps I was able to squeeze about 28 miles of actual EV. Preheat temp, garaged, no cabin heat, 45 mph max, rural roads, light traffic @ 5am. I also stay off the highway unless we're going somewhere.

In both my 2010 and Prime, I stayed in full ECO mode. You can accomplish the same in PWR depending on how your foot is trained. I was always a bit more tempted to be bad in PWR mode. EV is definitely more fun to drive than HV.

Well-trained foot, and of course, 57°-77° F temperatures really help the range. I don't use heat of any kind and A/C very rarely, and running EV mode strictly on electricity, my dash MPG stays at 199.9. You just can't beat it with a stick!

I have an upcoming ~500 mile same day trip about every 6 weeks and weekly 130 mile trips so I get to practice hypermiling in HV as well. It's a challenge to do those and stay high on either of the lists.

Yesterday, the sun came back. Today, my second sheep came back. I had to use the "sheep finder" tool in the Entune App Suite to locate him. He'd been offered a bunch of freebies if he attended some fake seminar in Michigan. Somewhere near Clawson I think. Why in the heck you you want to go to Michigan in January beats me. ;)

    I suppose I'll get a rainbow tomorrow?

Hmm very interesting thread. Since data is good, let's analyse it, shall we?

    1. ECO Dashboard nirvana - 2 sheep, conifers, oranges on the trees, tulips, sun and rainbow.
    2. It appears to reset on the 1st of each month so everyone gets a blank slate
    3. Obviously tied to gasoline consumption. More gas = boring scenery
    4. Flowers are like a half reward instead of oranges. It seems tied to your driving style (Not sure if @Mark57 changed anything or it was because of the reset in Dec)
    5. To get tulips, you need to be at least Silver status
    6. I believe the sunshine is tied to your ranking for monthly fuel consumption and the rainbow to your ranking in the Eco Driving Score with the caveat that there must be a mileage check (i.e. you can't be #1 with 999.9 mpg on Jan 2 because you drove 10 miles in EV and expect to get the sun)

Hopefully that's a start and people can build on that.

Edit: I'm guessing there's a Gold status for "ECO Status" which means #1 may have another item that we've yet to see/unlock (assuming #5 is right and there is another item that will appear when you get the next level up from Silver)

Ok, so how do you get to Silver Status? I’ve got everything except those tulips.
