Note this is for the US only. The Canadian market RX went up by $600 for both RX and RXh.

    Well that’s unfortunate :(.

I guess we should have waited a bit:sick:.

:( It's really rare to drop by that much. I wonder why?

Lexus doesn't typically want to cannibalize the resale value of its vehicles.

I see many RX450h ‘s on the road out here, and the sales volume wasn’t horrible, but what do I know:cool:.

We were the mark they saw coming I guess:rolleyes:.

    Agreed:(.

But I can tell you one thing, they may get it on the front end, but they won’t get more from servicing ours;).

They’ll need another huckleberry for that(y).

same thing happened to me on the pip. after i paid 32k, they dropped the msrp, and on top of that, started giving them away for a handful of trinkets, devaluing my potential trade in value.

Yeah there’s not much I can do either:(.

But we agreed to the price and will pay it off;).

Then keep it for 20 years and not have to worry about(y).

20 years and 1 Traction Battery replacement??

That's what has always worried me after 10 years.. Mileage, no worries there.

In 20 years, that car will cost $80000, a bargain if you buy now

Meh, I’ll work with @jeff652 and we’ll make the battery last once it gets a little more seasoning on it;).

Had great success with our 2010 with 170 k miles on it breathing life back into the battery:).

But if I have to buy a new pack, the RX450h is worth it too(y).

I'm hoping to pickup a 2012 with around 90K mileage at a descent price. I can't afford a new one for sure but I think it's the best vehicle for today. If the 08 Prius holds out I'll keep saving up for a new one with less miles. It's getting more and more difficult for this old man to get in and out of the Prius. :)

If the thread about someone who replaced their HV battery is any indication, it'll be like getting a new version of your RX, 10 years from now (or whenever it goes).

And if I preventatively maintain the battery, I can get more than 10 out of it and maybe avoid replacement ;).

Or extend the replacement out, then get even more than 20 years out of the RX :).

    Oh the possibilities (y).

That too. I don't know why I picked 10 years. Our 2005 lasted 11.5 years and my 2010 is coming up on 9!

Our 2010 is just as old as yours and with grid charging, the battery performance has improved :).

It has now made me wait longer to upgrade to a Prime Plus or Gen 4 Prius One:(.

But is a very cost effective solution to make a battery last(y).

To be honest, I've also been searching for an older RX400h that has had the HV Batt replaced. I would buy one of those in a heartbeat!!
