As of Sunday, Eco Dashboard was spotty, and no push notifications for charging events were happening.

As of today, Eco Dashboard is working again (but the "updated at" time shows trip start, not trip end) and I am receiving push notifications for charging events as expected.

Expecting a call from Toyota today or tomorrow regarding my phone and Entune Prius Advanced functionality, will update with what they say about it after they call.

I think this is the way my dashboard has always worked.

Received a charge complete email on time this morning!

Chris from Toyota called me about 30 minutes ago for a follow up. My start and finish email notifications are now working 2 days in a row as is the ECO Dashboard updating. Seems to be back the way it was for me. I drove 135 miles today (18°) with multiple power downs with updates after each stop.

He said their "telemetrics" partners made changes Christmas Eve, which I did not notice.

That describes what I am seeing. Eco Dashboard updates as of trip start time and I am receiving email upon charge completion, most recently at 8:47AM EST following re-charge after a 5-mile trip.

Also, ECO ranking and Fuel Consumption ranking appear to be updating (if there is any change) whenever ECO Dashboard is refreshed. This implies that other users' data is continually being added to the database and rankings re-calculated.

For example, below are screen shots of my ECO Dashboard taken at 9:02AM and 2:00PM. Notice that they both show the information updated as of 7:41AM and that my "fuel consumption" and "ECO driving score" is unchanged -- the car has been sitting in my garage plugged in -- but my ranking for both metrics has gone down from 87th to 88th and from 88th to 89th respectively.

I think I'll go out and cruise aimlessly around the neighborhood in EV mode just to improve my ranking ...but (as Richard Nixon once said) that would be wrong.

This is they way they designed it. I asked. And yes, it seems backwards to me as well.

Day 3 of consecutive successful receipt of "both" start and completed charge notification emails and rapid update of the ECO Dashboard.

Looks like we can go back to worrying about sheep, etc.;)

I drove 135 miles yesterday in 18° temps with the heat set to 69° with a preheated and very warm feeling cabin. I made 22.1 miles on EV with a trip total 86.0 mpg! I find that pretty amazing. My Eco score sucked @ 73 but over all I was impressed. I could not have done this in my 2010.

All my critters and flowers are...gone! Maybe the seat and steering wheel heaters scared them off.

^ -15 F? Dang. That's another definition of ICE. Let me guess - not much EV cruising going on right now?

Headed to -9 this Sunday here. Thought I'd never use the steering wheel heater. Love it now. I'll keep it off when EV works, but if I'm using the petrol, then what the heck - turn everything on!

I have used the seat and wheel heaters while on EV and my "critters" are fine. (Of course I have not driven in 5 days) (Going to be -20 here New Year's morning...that is nuts).

Got a call from Chris as well, (yesterday?)
and thanked him. Looks like we're back in business. The long, relatively high speed freeway trips killed my averages. No oranges or tulips. We start all over again in a couple of days!

Yeah, this is day 4 of everything working for me. That's nice.

If any of you are keeping track, make sure you have app screen shots after driving on the 31st. Not sure what 2017 history will or will not carry over or be available for the next year. Today is my last day driving until the 3rd.

Assuming the tires get heated too, I guess they could melt the ice & snow?

I had not thought about a new year and our records/sheep/etc. This could be as bad as Y2K.

Yeah, talk about a major much a do about nothing event. ;) We had a bunch of programmer types get lured ($$$) away to other companies to implement emergency Y2K fixes only to be laid off and return to their old jobs at less pay the following year.

Y2k was not without effect here: I was, and still am using my outstanding, customizable Q&A program originally produced by Symantec. Being a DOS based app, it has no idea about the year 2000 and beyond!! I helped as many as 100 clients transition past 2000, with minor changes to my designs. Who'd have thought that an application could last over 24 years without ANY updates and still be viable today!! I have even loaded, and continue using it, and my custom-designed files on my Samsung Galaxy S7 every single day!! Brilliant design, and still making me money!

Yup! We spent over $1,000 just to add a 8087 math co-processor to the PC. Then we relished in the increased beauty of the green bar print outs when we got that first 24 pin dot matrix printer. It was perfect for the Lotus 123. "/FS" before exiting or you loose it.;)
